FAQ's

Arrival and departure times:
Monday – Friday 07h00 - 17h30 Full day
07h00 - 12h30 Half day
A fine of R100 will be charged if your child is fetched later than 5:40pm.

Public Holidays:
We are closed on all public holidays.

Holidays:
Our school closes during the December and January school holiday period. Dates will be provided.

Fees for 2021:
Full day: R 3 270 (including meals & snacks)
Sibling : R 3 105 (including meals & snacks)
Half day: R 2 490 (including meals & snacks)
Sibling: R 2 360 (including meals & snacks)
R1000 non refundable registration fee
R700 non refundable registration fee for sibling
Fees are payable monthly on or before the first day of each month, payable in advance. We prefer online payments, but cash payments are also acceptable.
Invoice is sent via email every end of the month
DOCUMENTS NEEDED:
ENROLLMENT FORM/ COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE / CLINIC CARD / PARENTS ID

Rest times:
All classes rest from 12:30pm - 2pm. Children sleep on small beds that are lightweight and are about 8 cm from the ground. These beds are very safe. Each child sleeps on his/her own pillow and under his/her own blanket.
No visitors during this time please. THE FRONT DOOR OF THE SCHOOL WILL BE LOCKED.
If you need to fetch your child during this time, please make prior arrangements.
Children can ONLY be fetched at 2:30pm onwards in order for us to get all the beds etc. packed away & to get the respective kiddies nappy changed etc.
IF YOU NEED TO FETCH YOUR CHILD DURING REST TIME, PLEASE DO SO BY 12:30PM OR AFTER 2:30PM.

Additional classes are also offered:
Playball Monkeynastix Swimming Lessons
These classes are not mandatory and each parent's choice. Tuition fees must be paid directly to these institutions and the School does not accept responsibility for outstanding accounts in this regard.

Collection of Kids:
If you can't fetch your little one in the afternoon, please arrange with the teachers. No child will be allowed to go home with any other person other than as arranged. Strictly for the sake of your little one's safety. Your assistance in this matter will be much appreciated.

Health and sickbay:
Take note that all Covid protocols are adhered to at Little Einsteins.
Please keep your child home if he / she has HAD THE FOLLOWING SYMPTOMS THE PREVIOUS EVENING OR MORNING:
* Vomiting
*Diarrhea
*High fever
*Head lice
*Eye infections
Or any other infectious disease
A parent will be notified if their child develops a high fever or any type of ailment. If your child should receive medication, the medication & medication administration form with all required information must be completed and signed by the parent & be handed to the child's specific teacher or the principal.
A PARENT WILL HAVE TO FETCH A CHILD IMMEDIATELY IF HE OR SHE STARTS WITH DIARRHEA / VOMITING OR RUNS A HIGH FEVER. This will only be the considerate thing to do, seeing that we do not want to infect the others little ones at the the school.

Photo day:
A photographer will take some individual & class photos.
A specific theme will be suggested.
Dates and rates on the packages will be supplied.

Educational shows:
Various educational shows will be presented at the school during the coarse of the year.
Themes and dates will be supplied. Costs for the shows will be supplied.
Example:
Dog show/ Dairy show/ Water cycle show/ Mammal show/
Healthy teeth / Water wise / Petting Zoo etc

Concert:
We are proud to present a school concert that promises to be great fun. The concert is performed in a relaxed and jovial spirit.
Everyone is welcome to enjoy it with us. Invite your whole family and all your friends .
The date and time will be supplied.

Lunch and refreshments:
Breakfast is served between 8am & 8:30am.
Morning snack is served at 10am.
Healthy cooked lunch is served at 12pm
Afternoon snack is served after nap time .
